Building Careers:  SCR Central Division Scholarship

Since 1995, SCR has funded a scholarship program for high school juniors and seniors in our geographical region, including the areas served by our affiliate companies (i.e. the Rochester area, St. Cloud and environs, and north to the Brainerd Lakes region).

The scholarship awards $1000 per semester to students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrolled in a HVAC and Refrigeration program at a two (2) year Vocational/Technical College.
• Recipient must work for two years at SCR after graduation.
• Demonstrate academic promise. To remain eligible for the scholarship, a minimum of a 3.0 GPA must be maintained while attending Vocational/Technical College.
• Primary factors to be considered in the selection of candidates are attendance, promptness, dedication and willingness to cooperate.
• Recipients are encouraged to gain part-time and summer employment at SCR while in school.
